Who is Healthwatch Norfolk?
Healthwatch Norfolk is the independent voice for patients, service users and Carers in the county. We gather your views of health and social care services to ensure they are heard by the people in charge.
What is this survey about?
Healthwatch Norfolk is currently working with Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (NWICB) to understand people’s attitudes to the use of digital tools in healthcare. This survey is designed to gather your thoughts and opinions about how the NHS uses technologies and plans to use technologies in the future. We refer to these technologies as ‘digital tools’.
The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete, and is split into four sections:
- Electronic Patient Records: exploring your awareness, understanding, and opinions on electronic patient records
- The NHS app: Exploring your awareness, understanding, and opinions on the NHS app
- The future of digital tools: Gaining your opinions on the Government’s plans to digitalise the NHS
- Who you are: information about you
You do not have to answer every question, but please answer as many questions as you can to help us understand your views on this topic.
Your views will be anonymous (nobody will know what you said), and everybody's views will be put together and fed back to NWICB to help them to plan how digital tools will be used in Norfolk and Waveney.
How the survey results will be used
Survey responses are being collected and analysed by Healthwatch Norfolk. You can read our full privacy policy at: www.healthwatchnorfolk.co.uk/about-us/privacy-statement.
All responses will be anonymous. The survey results will be used to make recommendations to NWICB on how people’s experiences can be improved, as part of a project report. The report will also be publicly available on our website and may be used in other Healthwatch Norfolk communications.
Survey closing date: 14th April 2026
