East City Way is part of Glasgow's "City Ways" cycle network, as part of the Glasgow Active Travel Strategy, these are routes which radiate from the city centre and provide key walking and cycling corridors to encourage and provide sustainable transport opportunities.

 

Phase 5 will continue the bi-directional cycle lanes East of Canmore Street to Braidfauld street.

 

Glasgow City Council is conducting a survey to allow people to provide feedback on the phase 5 of the East City Way project. This project is in line with Scottish Government and Glasgow City Council objectives to encourage walking, wheeling, cycling and use of sustainable transport.
