1. Introduction

The voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise faculty of the integrated care system workforce academy are are undertaking a comprehensive exercise to understand the skills, training development needs and capacity of voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. 

This survey will help us to:

  • Build an accurate picture of the skills that already exist within local organisations
  • Understand what internal and external training is being delivered
  • Identify gaps, pressures and unmet training needs
  • Explore opportunities for shared training, collaboration and resource‑pooling across the sector
  • Strengthen any sector future funding bids and workforce development planning

Who should complete this survey?

Any voluntary, community, faith or social enterprise organisation or group operating in Herefordshire and/or Worcestershire. This should be completed by the most appropriate person in your organisation with an overview of training and development needs of your staff and volunteers.

This survey will take about 10 minutes to complete

We would be extremely grateful if you could share this survey with your networks and encourage organisations of all sizes to take part, from small community groups to large charities. The wider the response, the more accurate and useful the findings will be for all of us. The findings will help to direct support and capacity building to create a stronger voluntary sector together.
