Sharing your feedback about health and social care services

Tell us how you want to share your feedback about health and social care services

The government has announced plans to abolish Healthwatch in 2027. Healthwatch gathers important feedback from patients and the public about health and social care and is independent from the NHS and local councils who provide these services.

These plans may change how patients and the public can share feedback and experiences. In the future, it may mean you would only be able to share your feedback with health and social services themselves, or the organisations who run them.

Have your say

This 5-minute poll is an opportunity to have your say on how you would like to be able to share your experiences of local health and care services. It does not matter if you have not heard of Healthwatch.

We want to hear:

  • Who you would like to share feedback on health and care with?
  • How you would like to be able to give feedback in the future?
  • What is important to you in how your feedback is gathered and used?

We will share what we hear with those responsible for deciding the future model of gathering and using patient feedback.

This survey closes at 11.59pm on Monday August 17th 2026.
