The Council is investing in the transformation of Horley Community Centre into a vibrant, modern and multi-purpose space designed to support a wide variety of activities for the whole community.

In 2022, we launched a public survey to gather feedback on the initial proposals for Horley Community Centre focusing on the types of activities and food offering people would like to see. As part of the design process, we’re now exploring how the centre could look and feel, including the layout, spaces and facilities needed to realise the vision for Horley Community Centre and reflect the community’s needs and aspirations.

Prize Draw

At the end of the survey, you will be invited to enter an optional prize draw, with a chance to win a £25 Collingwood Batchellor voucher (redeemable at any Collingwood Batchellor store). You will be asked to provide your email address in order for us to contact winners. Further detail about the prize draw can be found at the end of the survey.

Advisory group

At the end of the survey, you will be invited to volunteer to be part of an advisory group to shape and inform the modernisation proposals for Horley Community Centre. You will be asked to provide your email address in order for us to contact you. Further detail about the advisory group can be found at the end of the survey.

Personal Information
This survey includes optional questions inviting you to provide your email address or phone number and will only be used to contact winners of the prize draw and or volunteers for the advisory group. This information is being collected to help inform our research and help us reach a cross section of the community.  Data will only be held while we undertake this work. Data will not be shared with a third party.
If you have any queries about how the council uses personal data, please read our privacy notice or contact our data protection officer on data.protection@reigate-banstead.gov.uk.

Your views

We would like your views on the type of spaces, facilities and activities the centre should provide, as well as any improvements you think could be made.

The survey will run until 10 August 2025.

All responses will then be reviewed to ensure the views of the local community influence the future design of the building and also future activities.

Paper copies of the survey are available from Horley Community Centre and should be returned to the Centre on completion.
