The Public Health team at Suffolk County Council has launched “I Wish I Knew”, a campaign supporting new and expectant parents through the early days of breastfeeding.
Local women have already shared their experiences to help others, but the campaign welcomes more parents across Suffolk to join in and offer their stories to reassure those who may feel unsure or alone.
The hope is that these stories can feature later in the year as part of Breastfeeding Awareness Week which falls from 1-7th August 2026. Only with permission these stories may be used via the Public Health social media channels and on the Healthy Suffolk website.
