Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Defibrillator Grant 2026-27

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council has launched a small grants fund for constituted Sports Clubs and Community Organisations, designed to increase the provision of publicly accessible defibrillators across the council area and strengthen community readiness to respond to cardiac emergencies.

Preference will be given to clubs / community organisations that can house a defibrillator externally to support 24/7 access and to a wider population.

Applications for funding, up to a maximum of £2,500, must demonstrate how the proposal responds to the key theme as outlined below in the Guidance Notes/Application Form. Clubs/community organisations will be required to fund a £400 contribution, to pay for the defibrillator and associated costs.

The closing dates for applications is Friday 16th October at 5pm.

Successful applicants should ensure a Risk Assessment is completed prior to a defibrillator being installed.
