As Scotland’s circular economy public body, Zero Waste Scotland is working with business, government and communities to rewire the economy for people, planet and prosperity.
Zero Waste Scotland has recently carried out research to build on its current understanding of the factors influencing the uptake of circular economy practices in Scotland's Energy Infrastructure and Built Environment sectors; and to gather evidence that will inform the development of its strategic Roadmaps for both of these high impact sectors.
These strategic Roadmaps for the Built Environment and Energy Infrastructure sectors are being developed with the aim of enhancing the uptake and implementation of circular economy practices across these sectors. This requires moving away from our current linear consumption driven model to one where we make the most of the materials that we use across the breadth of activities taking place in multiple sectors in our society.
We invite you to take part in the development of these Roadmaps by sharing your views and expertise through a series of questions designed to explore how Scotland’s Energy Infrastructure and Built Environment sectors can support the transition and uptake of circular economy practices. Some of the questions you will be asked to answer may be new to you and we encourage you to take time to think about them.
Your views will also support Zero Waste Scotland’s future communications, engagement, and research activities supporting the rewiring of Scotland’s economy.
The time needed to complete the questions is as follows:
- approximately 15 minutes if answering questions for the Energy Infrastructure Roadmap only
- approximately 15 minutes if answering questions for the Built Environment Roadmap only
- approximately 30 minutes if answering questions on both of the sector Roadmaps.
