Thanks for your interest in the Midlothian Citizens' Panel. Click 'next' at the bottom of the page to join - below we tell you a little more about the Panel.
What is the Citizens' Panel?
The Panel is one of the ways that Midlothian Community Planning Partnership (MCPP) can hear the views of local residents. Community planning is about public bodies and communities working together to identify local needs and deliver better outcomes for people. The Panel enables MCPP members - such as Midlothian Council, NHS Lothian, Police Scotland, Scottish Ambulance and Scottish Fire & Rescue – to give communities a stronger voice in planning local services.
Anyone aged 16+ living in Midlothian can join - it's really important that we include people from across the area and from all parts of the community. Feedback makes a real difference to decisions about the future of Midlothian.
What's involved?
Members receive one or two surveys a year asking for views on a wide range of issues relating to life in Midlothian and local services. We may also invite you to take part in other consultations or feedback exercises. Participation is always optional.
We produce reports based on Panel surveys, and keep members updated on how their feedback is being used. Click here to see results from previous surveys.
Click the next button at the bottom of the page to complete the short sign-up form. This asks for your contact details so that we can send you invites to future Panel surveys and events, and some information about you and your household. This information helps us analyse survey results and make sure the Panel is as representative as possible. Please skip any questions if you prefer.
