This form is to nominate Civil Servants from DfTc or DfT's executive agencies for a Royal Garden Party place. There is a separate form that should be used to nominate non-civil servants.
Every year DfT receives a small allocation of places for these parties, which are held at Buckingham Palace (England) and the Palace of Holyroodhouse (Scotland). Once all nominations have been received, the DfT Honours Committee will review each nomination and select those that they believe are the most deserving to attend.

- We advise you to prepare your 250 word citation before completing the form, taking the time to write a strong citation that improves the chances of the nomination being successful.
- If you wish to submit multiple nominations, please complete a separate form for each person.
- The deadline for completing this form is 30th October 2026.

The data provided in this nomination form is used by DfT for the purpose of allocating Royal Garden Party places and monitoring the diversity of nominations received. This information will be stored securely in a restricted area by the DfT Honours team, and destroyed within 5 years of the Royal Garden Party taking place. The data will not be used for other purposes.
