Mobility Scooter Consultation

Introduction

0%

A review of The Mobility Scooter Guidance for Residential Premises has been undertaken to ensure it remains up to date and fit for purpose.  The original guidance was published in 2018, and since that time, the technology to support the mobility scooter industry has developed considerably, particularly with the development of Lithium-ion battery technology.

This consultation document is a draft and has not been formatted at this point.  This process will be undertaken internally by NFCC; therefore, observations on formatting should not be included.

Please provide sufficient detail in your comments for us to determine what content they relate to, along with the line number in the document. If you wish to suggest any additional content or corrections for the draft guidance, there is a question at the end of the survey where you can provide details of your sources of information. This could be a link to a website or the title of a publication.

Each 'additional comment' text box has a 20,000 character limit (including spaces).

If you would like to prepare your response in advance, you can review the questions here. This must not be submitted instead of completing the online survey.

There is also a save and continue function that can be used throughout the consultation so that you can return to your response later. If you use this option, you will be sent an email with a link to enable you to continue the survey.

This survey will close at 9am on Monday 15th December. If you have any questions or experience any difficulties in completing the survey, please email the Protection Reform Unit at pru@nationalfirechiefs.org.uk
