About the research projects map
The College of Policing research projects map provides summaries of research projects and evaluations at Master's level and above which have been shared by researchers. It has been developed to:
- enable knowledge sharing
- identify potential knowledge gaps in policing and crime reduction-related research
- assist researchers, decision makers and practitioners to locate one another so that they can identify areas of mutual interest
- decrease the risk of duplication and increase the potential for collaboration
Share your research projects with us
You can share your research project or evaluation if it is:
- relevant to policing or crime reduction
- carried out in conjunction with a UK university (or a UK police force if it is a randomised control trial)
- at master's degree level or above
- ongoing or completed (no more than two years before submission)
Details of research projects are kept on the map for up to 10 years. To be shared on the map, completed projects must be accompanied by a link to a published or peer-reviewed research findings, for example a journal article, thesis or dissertation. Researchers are also invited to share eligible research outputs such as dissertations and journal articles with the National Police Library. Your research project can be removed from the map at any time by emailing research.map@college.police.uk.
Your submissions to the research map are central to our continuing work in mapping the current and evolving evidence-base in policing and crime reduction. Thank you for your contribution.
