Devon Music Education Hub-supported partners application form 2025-26 (NEW Hub-supported partners)
1. Please read the following information carefully before starting to complete your application.

Devon Music Education Hub works with schools, music educators and a range of local, regional and national partner organisations to provide an inclusive, diverse and relevant music education offer for all children and young people.

Our work includes supporting progression routes for young musicians through direct funding for a network of music centres, ensembles and music-making opportunities, spanning a wide range of genres and specialisms, delivered our funded partner organisations.

While ensuring we can meet our reporting requirements to DfE/Arts Council England, we have tried to keep the funding application process for 2025-26 as straightforward as possible so that we can focus on how best we can support you over the year ahead. Please refer to our commissioning strategy for further information on how funding decisions are made.

Guidance for applicants

  • When completing the application please ensure that your responses relate specifically to activities that would be funded by Devon Music Education Hub, rather than to other work that you may carry out as an organisation.
  • When providing statistical data, for new activities, please provide anticipated numbers for the next academic year (2025-26).
  • We are now required to provide statistics around diversity and gender of participating young musicians. We recognise that some organisations may not yet collect this information but would encourage you to factor this in to your future plans.
  • Financial projections must be provided in the format indicated. We anticipate that Hub investment in your activity will leverage 50% cash or in-kind investment from other sources i.e. parents/carers, schools, other funders, in-kind support etc.
  • We recognise that some of the descriptors used below are rather limiting or may not align with your values, but this is the information that we are required to provide to DfE/Arts Council England as part of the annual statistical data return. Please provide additional comments below if you feel your response requires further explanation.
  • You can save your work and return to your application later at any point, but please ensure your completed application is submitted by 9am on Monday 12 May 2025.
  • You must click 'Finish' to submit your application. If there any gaps or errors the form will not allow you to submit. Once successfully submitted we strongly recommend that you select 'Print' to save a PDF version of your responses for your records. Unsubmitted or partial responses will not be collected and you will not be eligible for funding - we take no responsibility for any software failures.
  • You will be notified of the funding decision during the week commencing Monday 23 June 2025, with payment released in early September.
