West Yorkshire Police's Spiking Intensification Week ran from the 16th September to 22nd September 2024. During this week, the force promoted spiking awareness and provided information to dispel myths about spiking. There was an increase in officer presence and messaging to raise awareness, educate and encourage reporting. Following this intensification week, as part of ongoing work, West Yorkshire Police will continue to raise awareness on spiking, support victims and offer guidance regarding reporting and next steps.
