Pharmacy services

1. Your local Pharmacy services

In January 2024 the NHS introduced the Pharmacy First scheme.  This allowed pharmacies to offer additional services, giving patients an additional way of accessing care / advice.  This service was expected to free up GP appointments and give people quicker and more convenient access to high quality care.

Two years since being introduced this survey has been designed to help understand the level of awareness and uptake of the services in Brent.

Healthwatch Brent is an independent organisation and has been your local health and social care champion since 2012.  From Queensbury to Kilburn and everywhere in between, we ensure the National Health Service (NHS)/ Council leaders and other decision makers hear your voice and use your feedback to develop new services and make improvements.

The information you share with us is anonymous and we will use it to create a report that we can share with the Brent Public Health Team so we can improve services for Brent residents.

As well as your feedback, we also ask you to volunteer some personal information such as age, gender, location etc. This helps us to help us understand how different groups of residents experience local health and social care services and supports our focus on improving equality, diversity and inclusion.

If you are sharing information on behalf of another person, make sure that you have their permission to do so, or the information you do share should be anonymous.

Find out more about how we handle your information in our privacy statement.  Should you have any questions, please contact the team on:

This survey closes on Friday 29th May 2026 at 5pm.

Best wishes from the Brent Healthwatch Team
