Thank you for visiting our online trustee application portal. We invite application from anyone over the age of 16 to join our board of trustees. We are particularly interested (but not limited) to receive applications from those who have some experience and knowledge in the following areas:
Finance and/or charity finance
Fundraising and income generation
Volunteer training and development
Knowledge of HIV and sexual health services
Knowledge of HIV and mental health services
We are committed to expanding the diversity and representation of all groups to our board of trustees. In particular we welcome applications from individuals who are often underrepresented, including:
Black, brown and other minority ethnic groups
Trans men, women and non-binary people
Heterosexual men from all ethnic groups

All your personal information is stored securely and only authorised members of our team directly involved in the recruitment process have access to this information. Once we've had an opportunity to review your application we will be in touch to discuss this further, prior to interview.
Due to the nature of our work, our staff and volunteers come into contact with vulnerable adults and young people. We therefore need to complete background checks for trustees who are appointed to the board. In addition all charities are required by Law to satisfy themselves that individuals who are applying for a trustee position are not disqualified from holding such a position. We will talk to you more about these checks during the interview stage of the recruitment process.
Interviews will normally take place online via video call. If you have any particular support needs please let us know in the space provided in the application form.
