We want your stories
The Analysis Function is a strong, influential community, with 17,000 analysts across all departments and multiple professions doing interesting, inspiring, and important work... and we want to know more about it.
We are looking for case studies to demonstrate the impact that analysis has across government, and to illustrate 'what good looks like'.
Case studies will be collated and published on the Analysis Function website as a resource to support the updated Analysis Function strategy, "A strategy for the future of analysis in government (2025-28)".
Your stories will provide examples that show the wide range of analytical work that we do. They will provide unique insight into what makes analysts feel proud and the positive impact that we have across government. And this in turn will help recognise and celebrate our collective identity as the Analysis Function.
What makes a good case study?
Case studies should ideally be from the last year, or still be in development. Please complete the template below, with no more than one page of text and return to Analysis.Function@ons.gov.uk
Share your stories in other ways
We are also interested in finding out about articles or blogs that are already published. If you have any wider pre-prepared/readily available materials, images or links to publications or announcements that support the case study, let us know about these as well
