Following the success of Wild E3 project in Bow, the Grounds Maintenance team, Clarion Futures Communities, and the Sustainability team are preparing a funding bid for the GLA’s Green Roots Fund. This new “Blue Project” will focus on helping residents connect with local water spaces such as the canal, introducing water features onto estates, and training residents and staff to care for these spaces. The project aims to improve wellbeing, increase access to nature, raise awareness of climate issues, and strengthen community connections through better use of “blue spaces.” To help shape the project, we are asking residents to share their views. This survey will collect information on how you currently use blue spaces, any barriers you experience, and ideas you may have for improvements. Your feedback is essential to build a clear picture of current usage and ensure the project reflects residents’ needs.
