Healthwatch Southend is looking to talk to people about their experiences with the Essex Learning Disability Partnership. The Essex Learning Disability Partnership (ELDP) offers specialist healthcare services for people with a learning disability (with or without autism) and can support physical health and mental health. These include:

             Nursing
             Occupational Therapy
             Speech and Language Therapy
             Physiotherapy
             Clinical Psychology
             Psychiatry
Mental Health inpatient beds at Lexden and Byron Court
Enhanced Support at home (including Behaviour specialists)
Forensic treatment- support to stay out of criminal justice system

Healthwatch Southend is not part of the NHS or the Council.  This means you can share honest feedback with us.  We will then take this to Essex County Council, who are responsible for funding specialist healthcare.

It is very important that we hear from people who have used these services so we can feedback on what is working and what isn’t to help improve the service for the future.

We will keep your personal data confidential.  If you would like to know more about how we do this, please go to https://www.healthwatchsouthend.co.uk/privacy
