About this form
If your project is shared on the College of Policing research projects map you can use this form to:
- report whether your project is still ongoing or now complete
- easily update any details on your research map project page (e.g. email address, project title, research context or methodology)
- change or restate your permission for sharing your project on the map (for up to ten years following original submission)
- provide links to any dissertations, theses, reports, books or journal articles arising from your project
Sharing your outputs with us
Your research publications will be cross-checked against the National Police Library (NPL) catalogue, which is publicly available online. If any outputs are not already available via the NPL catalogue, you will be contacted and asked to donate your publication to the NPL (if eligible for inclusion). Your output will then be made available to download by users of the library catalogue.
To share your research output with the NPL, you will need to complete a copyright agreement (sent to you by email) and provide a PDF of the publication. If your document contains any sensitive or confidential material, you can specify restrictions, for example making the publication only accessible to members of the NPL on-site.
At the end of the form, you will be directed to a separate, short survey where you can provide feedback about the research projects map. Your participation in this separate survey is completely optional and no personal data will be collected.
Thank you for sharing your research findings with the College of Policing and UK policing. By doing so, you are contributing to knowledge exchange around policing and crime reduction.
