Firstly, a huge thank you for completing this survey. Your feedback is valuable to   me, Members of the Council and Officers.

As Leader of South Derbyshire District Council, I am proud of the services we provide to our residents and the ambitious targets we set in our Council Plan that ends on 31 March 2028. Your feedback will support how we continue on this  journey.

We are entering a period of change for the delivery of local government services in Derbyshire that will impact on all residents. From 1 April 2028 as part of the Government's Local Government Reorganisation programme,   South Derbyshire District Council (along with all other Councils in Derbyshire) will cease to exist and services will be provided by two unitary authorities, serving the north and south of the County.

It is important that we understand more about what matters most to you as residents, what services you  value and what is unique to South Derbyshire that you would like to see preserved as we head into this new structure of local government.  Please take the time to consider this, as you complete the survey.

Many thanks again for your time.

Cllr Robert Pearson
