Living in a rural area in Oxfordshire - your views

0%

Oxfordshire County Council has asked two local charities Healthwatch Oxfordshire and Community First Oxfordshire to hear from residents about what it's like living in one of the following rural areas in Oxfordshire:

Deddington, Cropredy, Heyford, Yarnton, Chipping Norton, Charlbury, Long Hanborough, Freeland, Chalgrove, Sonning Common, Faringdon, Stanford in the Vale, Shrivenham, Watchfield.

If you live in a rural area outside these settlements, you can still fill in the survey, and what you tell us will be analysed separately.

As part of Oxfordshire's focus on understanding barriers and opportunities to health and care in rural areas, we want to hear your views on what helps you to stay healthy and well? What makes it difficult? What ideas do you have for supporting health and wellbeing in your area?

Healthwatch Oxfordshire is an independent charity for people who use health and social care services. We find out what matters to local people and make sure their views are heard by the people who make decisions about those services. Community First Oxfordshire is a community development and placemaking charity. As part of Oxfordshire's focus on barriers and opportunities to health and care in rural areas, what you tell us about your area will be used to shape support and improve services for people who live in your community.

This survey is anonymous - you do not have to say who you are and we will not identify you. From what we hear, anonymous insight will be shared with Oxfordshire County Council and other partners working with them on this programme and will be included in a publicly available report. Your personal details will not be shared with any third parties and will not be used for marketing. The survey is open to those age 15 and over. It won't take you more than 10 minutes to complete and we really want to hear your views!

If you would like a paper copy of the questionnaire, in another format, large print, or language, or if you would prefer to talk to us, or need help filling this in, please call Healthwatch Oxfordshire on 01865 520520 or you can email us at hello@healthwatchoxfordshire.co.uk.
