The shipping fleet statistics is published by the Department for Transport, currently on an annual basis, using the latest data available. The team is looking to gather your views on the relevance of the current format and content of our shipping fleet statistic outputs, particularly as we have recently moved to a new data provider.
All results from this survey will be reviewed by the department's statistics team, with a summary of findings and our responses to be published on the port freight statistics collection page in Spring 2024.
All information collected in this survey will be used and stored by the department, and not be shared with third parties. The information may be used to inform future reviews of the shipping fleet release and wider statistical products published by the department.
