This public consultation is part of our work to set up our new regulatory functions relating to Martyn’s Law.
Section 12(2)(a) of the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 requires us to produce guidance on how we will exercise our functions as the Martyn's Law regulator. We are consulting on a draft version of this guidance.
We are holding this consultation to:
- obtain views to inform the final version of the section 12 guidance
- be open about our planned regulatory approach
