Free Android Tablets Available for East Riding VCFSE Groups
Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations across the East Riding are being invited to apply for a free Android tablet to help support digital inclusion within their communities.
The tablets have been generously donated by Quickline and are available to local organisations that can put them to good use helping people get online, build their digital confidence and access essential online services.
How could your organisation use a tablet?
Tablets could support a wide range of community-based digital inclusion activities, including:
- Helping people access online services and information
- Supporting people to develop basic digital skills and confidence
- Helping residents access health, benefits and other essential services online
- Providing digital support at community hubs, drop-ins or outreach sessions
- Helping people who do not have access to a suitable device of their own
- Supporting people to stay connected and reduce digital isolation
The opportunity is particularly suitable for organisations that are already supporting people who may face barriers to getting online, or those interested in developing their digital inclusion offer.
There is no cost for the tablet, but organisations should be able to demonstrate how the device will be used to benefit their community and contribute towards tackling digital exclusion in the East Riding.

Applications must be submitted by midnight on Thursday 17 September 2026.
VCFSE groups across the East Riding are encouraged to apply and tell us how a tablet could make a difference to the people and communities they support.
