Veterans Rehabilitation Project
1. Introduction

Thank you for taking the time to fill in this survey. It should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. The Veterans Rehabilitation Project was set up to review existing rehabilitation across England and find best practice examples to then utilise in creating pathways for military veterans in the NHS. The pathways created are focusing on MSK conditions (shoulders, back, hip, knee, ankle and amputees), chronic pain and the psychological effects of injury. Once successfully piloted these pathways will be rolled out across the whole of the NHS in England.

The project is clinically managed by Professor Timothy Briggs, chair of the Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) programme.

We are conducting this survey to enable us to thoroughly gain quantitative data on current services. This will enable us to support the creation of evidence-based pathways in the NHS. You have been identified as a service who are currently providing rehabilitation in the named areas and as a result, we would value your input and time to complete this survey. From the results gathered we will be able to view variation in practice, compare services and evidence the pathways produced.

All information and data supplied will not be shared and aggregated results will anonymised in our report. If you wish to see how the results of the survey will be used in the report, please add your contact details at the end of this survey.
