Thank you for your interest in being a shortlisting volunteer for Voices, our creative writing competition for care experienced children and young people. Your input in supporting the competition really means a lot to the children and young people who take part and the team here at Coram Voice.
Each year, the Voices competition shares the creativity and talent of the children in care and care leavers who participates and empowers them to tell their own stories in their own words. We hope that through the competition we can encourage care experienced children and young people to aspire to great things and reach their full potential. Many of the children and young people tell their personal stories that give an insight into what their lives are really like and challenges preconceived notions of care.
By filling in this form you give us permission for us to add your name to the list volunteer shortlisters for the competition. You will be sent instructions and a set of entries to score as part of the shortlisting process. We anticipate that this will be in December and early January this year. If you at any point are not able to support this work or would no longer like us to keep your details, just let us know by emailing voices@coramvoice.org.uk.
