We are pleased to announce that the NHS-R Community will be hosting its annual conference (RPySOC 2025) on Thursday 13th November and Friday 14th November 2025 at the Wellcome Trust (215 Euston Road, London). The conference will be a hybrid event enabling delegates to attend in person or online.

The aim of the NHS-R Community is to promote the use of R, Python (and other open source solutions) to the health and care sector. We are looking for abstracts which support this aim and we are keen to hear from people from all organisations (and none) including the NHS, Local Authorities, Civil Service, Academics, Charities and Voluntary sectors, students and R/healthcare interested people anywhere in the world. We aspire to have a diverse range of speakers from beginners to advanced practitioners, covering training, applications (small or large), modelling, automation, personal reflections, strategic/tactical issues, data ethics, advancements in software/coding, etc.

We kindly request that you consider presenting your incredible work at the NHS-R Community Conference, inspiring and guiding the NHS-R Community to greater advancements within health and care!

  • Please submit your abstract/s to us via this form by Friday 05th September 2025
  • Please fill in one presentation topic per form. If you have more than one presentation topic, then please submit multiple forms
  • We will review the abstracts and respond back to you by Wednesday 01st October 2025.

We look forward to your submission. Please do not hesitate to contact us via Slack or the NHS-R Community inbox (nhs.rcommunity@nhs.net) if you have any questions or require any advice/help with your submission.
