We aim to ensure that we deliver quality, accessible services that provide you with an excellent customer experience and we need to ensure that we continue to do so in the most efficient and effective way.

Listening to you, over the years we have significantly changed the way we deliver services, providing you with greater digital access and equipping our Teams for mobile working. We now offer contact through:

- Home Visits and Planned Appointments
- Neighbourhood Surgeries (in the CafĂ© Recharge, Burnfoot Hub, Hazeldean, Rutherford Square and Richmond Row)
- MySBHA App, Facebook, Website
- Phone, Text Messages, the Repairs Freephone, e-mail, and MS Teams / NearMe / WhatsApp Digital Appointments

This has reduced the time the SBHA Team spend working from behind a desk in the offices and stood us in good stead during recent challenging times of the Covid pandemic when, in line with national restrictions, our offices were closed.

We are now considering alternative future options for the use of our local offices in Hawick and Galashiels, which have remained closed since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020. We are currently maintaining these offices, which does not provide best use, nor value for money for Tenants. We would therefore like to consult Tenants on the proposal to close these offices permanently. We are keen to hear your views on this.
