How we use the information you share:
The research will be co-ordinated by Rocket Science, with YNYCA acting as the Data Controller for this research. Rocket Science acts as a Data Processor on behalf of YNYCA and will only process your personal data in accordance with YNYCA’s instructions.

We will use information on which of the 5 study areas you are located in to understand issues in specific areas. We will also use demographic information you share to understand issues faced by specific groups.
Your data will be stored securely using approved systems. Your data will only be kept for as long as necessary to support this research and related transport planning activities, in line with YNYCA’s retention policy.
Your response will be analysed alongside others and reported back to YNYCA with ‘pseudonymity’. This means that identifying details such as names will be removed or replaced to reduce the likelihood of individuals being identified, although complete anonymity cannot be guaranteed. This is the format in which responses will be shared back to YNYCA.

The lawful basis for processing is to ensure that responses are credible and representative, and data processing is necessary to understand user needs and improve services. The impact on individuals is low, and applies appropriate safeguards (including pseudonymisation, limited data use, and transparency) are in place. Individuals can object at any time.
