Help Us Improve Domiciliary Care Services in Kirklees
Kirklees Council would like to hear about your experiences to help improve domiciliary care services for children and young people in Kirklees.
This engagement is being carried out in partnership with PCAN (Parents of Children with Additional Needs), the local Parent Carer Forum. PCAN works with families, services and decision-makers to ensure that the voices of parent carers are heard and that services are developed through meaningful engagement and co-production.
What is domiciliary care?
Domiciliary care is support provided by a care agency to disabled children and young people at home or in the community. Depending on a child's needs and eligibility, this support may be funded by the Council.
What do we want to know?
Kirklees Council want to understand what matters most to children, young people and families when using domiciliary care, including what good support looks like, what works well, and what could be improved.
We would like to hear from:
Families who currently use domiciliary care services.
Families who have used domiciliary care services in the last five years.
Families who may be eligible for domiciliary care but have chosen not to access it.
What will happen next?
Your responses are anonymous and will be fed back to Kirklees Council and will help them understand what families value in a good domiciliary care service and how services can continue to improve.
By completing this survey, this means that you are happy for the information you have included in it to be shared with Kirklees Council [and PCAN] and understand that the information will be held for no longer than is reasonably necessary.
Please note that this survey is not being used to make decisions about individual support packages or assessments.
