Bydd yr arolwg a’r gwaith technegol yn ein helpu i ddeall maint y buddsoddiad sydd ei angen i fynd i’r afael a gwelliannau hanfodol, gwella hygyrchedd, a moderneiddio cyfleusterau. Er bod y Neuadd yn cael ei defnyddio’n dda ac yn cael ei gwerthfawrogi, mae angen atgyweirio a gwella rhannau o’r adeilad yn sylweddol. Fel cofeb rhyfel Rhestredig Gradd II a lleoliad cymunedol hirsefydlog, mae’r Neuadd yn ased treftadaeth ac yn ofod sy’n cefnogi lles, diwylliant a chysylltiad lleol. Rydym am sicrhau bod ei dyfodol yn adlewyrchu anghenion a dyheadau ein cymuned.

Mae’r holiadur hwn yn rhan bwysig o’r broses ymgysylltu. Bydd eich ymatebion yn helpu i nodi blaenoriaethau ac yn llywio’r opsiynau dylunio sy’n cael eu datblygu gan ein tîm proffesiynol. Good news! Criccieth Memorial Hall has successfully secured grant funding from the Architectural Heritage Fund; this support will enable:

A full independent condition and structural survey
Community engagement and consultation
Architectural input to explore options and outline designs
Early feasibility and viability assessment

The survey and technical work will help us understand the scale of investment needed to address essential repairs, improve accessibility, and modernise facilities. While the Hall is well used and valued, parts of the building require significant repair and upgrading. Without planned investment, deterioration and rising maintenance costs could increasingly limit how the Hall can be used in the future.

The Committee intends to seek capital funding to carry out essential repairs and improvements to safeguard the Hall for future generations. Demonstrating strong community support and clearly identified priorities will be vital to securing that investment.

As a Grade II listed war memorial and long-standing community venue, the Hall is both a heritage asset and a space that supports local wellbeing, culture and connection. We want to ensure its future reflects the needs and aspirations of our community.

This survey forms an important part of the engagement process. Your responses will help identify priorities and shape the design options being developed by our professional team. Once initial options have been prepared, we will hold a public open day to share emerging designs and gather further feedback before moving forward.

The survey should only take 5 - 10 minutes to complete. All responses are confidential. Only summary findings will be shared.
