Glossary
Dynamic Market - a dynamic market is a list of qualified suppliers who are eligible to participate in future procurements under the Procurement Act 2023. These markets are dynamic in that they remain open to new suppliers joining or leaving at any time throughout their lifetime. They can be used for a wide range of goods, services, or works, and are available for all types of purchases, except for concession contracts unless they are also utilities contracts. www.gov.uk
Multidisciplinary Practice - a multidisciplinary practice is defined as an organisation that directly employs or provides two or more professional disciplines within a single organisation
Open Framework - an open framework is a scheme of successive frameworks that allows for the award of contracts on substantially the same terms. This means that the scope of the open framework, award criteria, and terms and conditions should remain substantially the same. However, there is the ability to modify a framework in the scheme where it is in line with the requirements around modifications. Open frameworks are periodically reopened to allow new suppliers to tender for a place on the framework. www.gov.uk
