Bromsgrove District Council is considering the use and availability of the current Hackney Carriage (Taxi) Ranks located within the district.
Currently the district offers the following authorised taxi ranks -
1. Crown Close (Market Street Service Road) near to the bus station.
2. High Street outside the Golden Cross Hotel and Public House.
3. Worcester Road, junction of George Street.
4. Worcester Road, junction of Station Street.
5. The Strand, opposite the Queens Head Public House.
This survey is being conducted to gather your views on whether there is sufficient and suitable provision of authorised taxi ranks across the district.
Please note that there are currently other spaces designated for taxis within the district, such as at the train station, however these spaces are on private land and therefore not authorised through the Council.
The survey will remain open for responses until 5pm on Tuesday, 25th August 2026.
