We are NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB). As an integrated care board, we oversee how money is spent and make sure health services are working well for the people of Lancashire and South Cumbria.
We have four core purposes which we would like you to think about when answering the questions in this survey:
- Improve health and care – make people healthier and improve the quality of medical care they receive.
- Make things fairer – give everyone the same chance to get good healthcare, no matter who they are or where they live.
- Spend money wisely – get better value out of every pound spent on the NHS and cut down on waste.
- Boost the local community – use NHS jobs, buildings, and spending to help local businesses and improve the local economy.
Earlier this year, people told us that access to GP services, urgent and emergency care, mental health support, care closer to home, prevention and reducing unfair differences in health were important. This helped us develop our clinical strategy.
We would now like to build on what we heard. Your answers will help us understand what matters most to you and what good health and care should look like where you live. They will also help shape our wider ICB strategy and what it focuses on.
