Welcome to the IPS workforce landscaping survey.

Information about the survey

What is this survey about, and do I have to take part?
This survey is being carried out by IPS Grow, who are supporting IPS providers across the UK with the expansion of IPS services.

The aim of this IPS workforce survey is to gather comprehensive insights from all IPS workers. The objective is to assess the current composition and dynamics of the workforce, pinpoint areas for improvement, and leverage these findings to shape forthcoming workforce initiatives effectively. Your input will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our IPS workforce. The survey is formed of 43-51 questions and should take 10-15 minutes to complete. 

Is the survey anonymous and confidential?

The survey is anonymous, and all information will be confidential.  It will not be possible to identify individuals.

What will happen to the information I give to you?
This survey will collect personal information including your current salary, length of time in post, previous work experience and ethnicity. Your anonymous data will be collected by our Workforce Manager Mairi Fraser, and will be stored by Social Finance who is delivering the IPS Grow Programme. The data will be stored securely by Social Finance for no longer than 2 years following the completion of our contract.

What will happen to the findings?
The findings will form part of the workforce development strategy for IPS. 

Do I get anything for completing the survey?
We are offering a £50 gift voucher from love2shop to 5 lucky winners who finish the survey. Once you finish the entire survey, you will be directed to a link where you can enter the prize draw. Winners will be selected using a random generator.

Do you consent to your ethnic data being collected?

We are collecting ethnicity data to better understand and reflect the diverse backgrounds and perspectives within the current IPS workforce. This information allows us to ensure that our workforce represents the communities we serve, enhancing the quality and relevance of IPS services. In addition, we will look at race equity and career progression within IPS.

Do you consent to data on whether you have personal experience of mental health challenges and/or drug and alcohol treatment being collected?

 

Personal lived experience is referring to your own current or previous mental health challenges or drug and/or alcohol addictions or physical health challenges. We are collecting lived experience data to better understand and reflect the diverse backgrounds and perspectives within the current IPS workforce. This information allows us to ensure that our workforce represents the communities we serve, enhancing the quality and relevance of IPS services. This data will be used to better inform decisions and developments for the IPS workforce.
