Each year Burntwood Town Council sets aside money to provide a variety of grants for local voluntary and community organisations who work to benefit the town.
Over the last two years, our larger grants have focused on supporting specific projects that provide services for young people aged 11 - 18 years, and mental health and wellbeing support for adults. These areas were chosen by Burntwood residents who told us that they felt these were the priority areas at the time.
As we look to enter a new round of investment, we would like to find out what priority areas residents now feel are the most important, and to understand what those needs are, we would like to hear from you.
We will collate all of the views shared in this survey to enable Councillors to determine what the priorities are.
Burntwood Town Council will then make our larger grants available for local voluntary and community organisations to apply for based on those priorities.
Please be aware that there are some things that these grants cannot be used for due to funding being available from other sources, such as statutory services like schools, GP surgeries and emergency services, or services that are the responsibility of other Local Authorities, such as road repairs and street scene maintenance.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this short survey and for sharing your views with us.
