Shaping the Future of Healthcare in Norfolk and Waveney
This survey is aimed at anybody living in Norfolk and Waveney who has used or might in the future use the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King’s Lynn), James Paget University Hospital (Great Yarmouth), or Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (Norwich).
Who is Healthwatch Norfolk?
Healthwatch Norfolk is the independent voice for patients, service users and carers in the county. We gather your views on health and social care services or charities to ensure they are heard by the people in charge.
What is this survey about?
The Norfolk and Waveney hospital group have been given more than £3 billion to rebuild both James Paget Hospital in Great Yarmouth and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn and to fund new technology. They want to ensure that for the next 10-20 years the care you receive from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King’s Lynn), James Paget University Hospital, and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is safe, consistent, and high-quality.
To help them decide what changes to make, they have asked Healthwatch Norfolk to gather the views of the public to find out what is important to you about your healthcare. They would like to find out:
· What works well now?
· What makes it difficult to get the care you need?
· What matters most when you use hospital services?
· How you feel about changes to where you receive care
· What you think is important when planning for the future.
The questionnaire should take around 10 minutes to complete.
