1. Dear Participant,

BSc in Computer Games Modelling and Animation– Participant Briefing and Consent Letter

I am Jamie Seagrave and I am collecting data from you which will be used in my dissertation for Is post processing enough on its own to change the art style of an environment as part of my BSc Computer Games Modelling and Animation at the University of Derby.

The objective of the dissertation research is to see how far I can push post processing to change the art style of an environment to a high standard and the information you will be asked to provide will be used to help to provide insights to achieve this objective.

The data you provide will only be used for the dissertation, and will not be disclosed to any third party, except as part of the dissertation findings, or as part of the supervisory or assessment processes of the University of Derby.

The data you provide will be kept until May 2014, so that it is available for scrutiny by the University of Derby as part of the assessment process.

If you feel uncomfortable with any of the questions being asked, you may decline to answer specific questions. You may also withdraw from the study completely, and your answers will not be used.

And, if you later decide that you wish to withdraw from the study, please write to me at J.Seagrave2@hotmail.co.uk no later than March 2014 and I will be able to remove your response from my analysis and findings, and destroy your response.

I have read and understood the contents of this consent and briefing form, and freely and voluntarily agree to participate in this research.

I am happy to be identified as a participant in the research by my position at work (eg as a member of the executive committee).
