Participant Briefing and Consent

Thank you for agreeing to take part in my dissertation, as part of my Master of Strategic Management at the University of Derby. Please ensure that you read the following information and complete the consent at the bottom.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the competitive state school market environment in an urban local authority area with consideration towards the provider’s supply and customer’s demand balance position within the environment and the perceptions of customer expectation and provider marketing strategies which influence the choice. The information you will be asked to provide will be used to help to provide insights to achieve this.

The data you provide will only be used for the dissertation, and will not be disclosed to any third party, except as part of the dissertation findings, or as part of the supervisory or assessment processes of the University of Derby.

The data you provide will be kept until 30th September 2018, so that it is available for scrutiny by the University of Derby as part of the assessment process.

If you feel uncomfortable with any of the questions being asked, you may decline to answer specific questions. You may also withdraw from the study completely, and your answers will not be used.

And, if you later decide that you wish to withdraw from the study, please write to me at Kristina Murphy, k.murphy6@unimail.derby.ac.uk, quoting your memorable word, no later than 31st March 2018 and I will be able to remove your response from my analysis and findings, and destroy your response.
