1. Study Information and Informed Consent

The aim of this study is to examine the difference in strength and proprioception of the shoulder joint in paddlers after sustaining a dislocation or subluxation of the shoulder joint. This survey will be used to assess the suitability of participants before engaging in strength and proprioception testing. This survey will take about 10 minutes to complete, please give enough time to complete the survey carefully. Your participation would be much appreciated as it will help to understand the long term impact of shoulder dislocation and subluxation among the paddling community specifically. The data collected will be stored at Loughborough University in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. At the end of this study (May/June 2016) I will send you a summary of the findings via your e-mail address provided.
