City of Westminster Bike Loan Scheme Registration

Welcome to the City of Westminster Bike Loan Scheme.

The purpose of the scheme is to encourage more residents to take up cycling by offering them the opportunity to try a bike and associated equipment to see how cycling can work for them. Residents can also access the free cycling training offered by the City of Westminster.

The scheme is to open to all residents of the City of Westminster Borough who are aged 18 years or over.

You will be entitled to borrow a bike, safety equipment and lock for 4 weeks free of charge, we only require you to pay £10 for membership to the London Cycling Campaign which will provide you with many benefits including liability insurance cover whilst cycling.

During the loan you will be expected to complete a weekly on-line survey about how you have used the bike, but otherwise the bike is yours to use as you want for 4 weeks. You can also access free cycle training during the loan to improve your compentency and confidence.

Once your registration is complete you will be contacted by an advisor within a week to confirm your bookng onto one of our fortnightly induction sessions where you will collect a bike and accessories.
