Thank you for agreeing to take part in this survey, as part of a dissertation study in association with Bournemouth University. It should only take five minutes of your time. All data collected will remain confidential and entirely for the purpose stated. The study aims to examine the whether the phenomenon of ‘football hooliganism’ affects a football fan’s motivations to attend live games. In order to complete the questionnaire, it is important that you have attended at least one professional football game in the last year and that you support a particular football team playing in the English Football League.
