We are in the process of developing a 'Transitional Care Unit' (known as 'TC').
Transitional Care is a service that allows some babies who need extra support after birth to stay with their parent(s) on the postnatal ward, instead of being admitted to the neonatal unit. These are usually babies born a few weeks early (around 34 weeks or later) who are well enough to be cared for outside intensive or specialist neonatal settings.
We are keen to get feedback from families to help us design this service.
Please fill in our short survey. We will be very interested in any extra comments you provide.
