Forestry and Land Scotland, previously Forest Enterprise Scotland, spends approximately £15 million on civil engineering works per year through predominantly local micro and small businesses. We’d like to hear from companies like yours about what it’s like to tender and contract with us.  We are also keen to understand what  would make us more appealing to businesses who haven’t tendered for our work and what we should be doing differently.
 
We’ve historically tendered for contracts, frameworks and quick quotes on a reactive need, contracting with NEC3, ECSC and TSSC on a wide range of construction, upgrade, maintenance, drilling, blasting and geotechnical stabilisation works.
 
We are drafting a Category Strategy which will analyse the supply base, market dynamics, trends, risks and opportunities to recommend how to procure our requirements for the future.  In our first year as Forestry and Land Scotland, a national organisation managing the nations’ forests, exceeding targets set for the Climate change agenda, we want you to come on the journey with us to enhance social value, embrace innovation and improve efficiencies whilst continuing to respect our environment.  Can you help us do that by completing our survey below:
