Purpose of the Study:
 

This is an Independent Study conducted by Yasheer Ackburally, who is a student at the University of Derby, UK. The purpose of the study is to examine adult’s level of interaction on Facebook and how this may be related to a certain level of loneliness.

 

What will be done:

You will complete a survey, which will take around 10-15 minutes to complete. The survey includes three questionnaires and a few open questions to answer. You will also be asked for some demographic information (e.g. age, sex) so that we can accurately describe the general traits of those who participate in the study. There is no right or wrong answer, so please answer each question as honestly as possible without too much overthinking. In order to proceed to the next page, all questions with an asterisk must be answered. If ever, you missed a question, a pop up and a flashing asterisks will advise which question/s have not been answered.
