Beijing Normal University will hold the 2019 Global Competition on Design for Future Education (GCD4FE). With the theme of "Future Education in the Intelligent Era", by the way of interdisciplinary teamwork, the production of works should be completed within 48 hours. During the competition, the students can explore the interdisciplinary creation, enhance their practical ability and communication skills. The key role of education in the establishment of the "global community with a shared future for mankind" can be also embodied. At the same time, the competition will promote the concept of "future education design" and the innovation and development of educational model in the future.
The competition will be held simultaneously in China, Serbia and Tunisia from November 22nd to 24th, 2019. The winning teams from three sub-contests areas will meet in Beijing to compete in the global finals. We sincerely hope to recruit a group of students with innovative, cooperative and enterprising spirit to participate in the competition.

Competition Theme: Future Education in the Intelligent Era
Competition Schedule:
▶Stage 1. Application Submission (September 9 to October 15, 2019):
In the stage of application submission, students from global colleges and universities who are interested in the future education can apply for the competition.
The deadline for application is October 15, 2019.
▶Stage 2. Online Learning (October 20 to November 9, 2019):
In the stage of online learning, 60 candidates who passed the primary selection will participate in a three-week online learning to master relevant design theories and skills through the study of design methodology.
▶Stage 3. Finals for Sub-Contest Areas (22 November-24 November, 2019):
In the stage of finals for sub-contest areas, students in China, Serbia and Tunisia, will simultaneously start 48H competition. Students are required to complete the product design according to the competition proposition within 48 hours. Judges will review the design plan based on the innovation, market prospect and social responsibility of the product. The winning teams from each competition area will compete in the global finals in Beijing.
▶Stage 4. Global Finals (TBD,December, 2019):
The qualified teams from sub-contest areas will meet in Beijing to present their team works by roadshow report, and compete for the champion of 2019 Global Competition on Design for Future Education.
