SUNRISE SURVEY

1. Information Sheet

0%

The SUNRISE project is commissioned by Wellcome Trust to explore the ways in which research engages with people’s personal direct experiences of mental health problems as a source of insight and understanding.

The project has been using the term ‘subjective experiences research’ to describe this endeavour, but you may use other terms – such as first person narratives, phenomenology, experiential knowledge. You can read more about the project here.

This survey hopes to hear from a wide range of mental health researchers about how they do, or do not engage with and deliver ‘subjective experience research’ and why, to better help us map the landscape across a diverse range of disciplines and methods.

How will my information be used?
We will summarise all the responses to the survey to help us understand the landscape of how mental health researchers perceive and engage with research that seeks to understand subjective experiences of mental health problems. Everything you share in this survey will stay anonymous. This means that nothing you tell us will be linked back to you as an individual.

Do I have a choice about giving this information?
This survey is entirely voluntary; there is no obligation to complete it.
