An investigation of assessment of bio-type in implant practice in the UK; an online questionnaire.
We would like take this opportunity to invite you to complete our online research questionnaire. Before you decide to do so, we would like to inform you what the research is about and what it would involve for you.
Background:
Limited evidence is the most we could find concerning the gold standard soft tissue bio-type assessment method. Although the importance of bio-types on outcomes in implant dentistry is established. We would like to find out from a large sample of dental practitioners what current practice is with respect to the assessment of gingival bio-type. We have refrained from asking for any personal information. But asked about your level of involvement in implant dentistry. Please only participate once as you may be invited to participated more than once due to the online nature of the study.
The 9 question questionnaire:
About 1-2 minutes of your time is all what it needs to complete this and it will be completely anonymous. We will not be able identify or to contact you from any of the information that you provide. The study results would help research develop in this area with a goal to minimise poor implant outcomes.
