The Charles Dickens Museum is committed to promoting equity and ensuring that no one is denied opportunities or discriminated against through prejudice or exclusion due to factors such as age, disability, sex, gender identity, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and sexual orientation.
As we continue to develop our policies and practical action plans, we need to find ways to measure whether these are having an impact, and in order to do that effectively, we need to assess where we are now. This questionnaire, which is anonymous, follows a standard diversity and equalities framework used by public sector bodies.
We ask everyone who applies to work with us and everyone we employ to complete this monitoring form. The information you provide will be kept entirely confidential, accessible only by our HR department and separated from any application for employment. We provide progress reports to our Board and major funders, but data is always aggregated and never attributable to individuals.
The information contained in this questionnaire will be treated as confidential and processed in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation.
